Ted has over 35 years in the restaurant industry, having started as a dishwasher in his hometown of Timonium, MD. His Eastern Shore experience started in 1986 as a busboy at Ocean City’s iconic Phillips By the Sea restaurant on 13th street and the boardwalk. There he worked every position in the house, including server, bartender and cook. During his career, he as experience at many different types of restaurants, from fine dining to quick service, catering and everything in between. Ted loves the Eastern Shore, it’s people and lifestyle. He is a surfer, musician, gamer and voracious reader. He has deep roots in the area as his mother and stepfather, sister and brother in law all live in Snow Hill. His sister owns the Flower Shop in Snow Hill. His father and stepmother live in York, PA and make the trip to the Eastern Shore as often as they can. As added family bonus, Ted’s son Nick Brock works with Ted in the kitchen.
